The Italian giants Inter Milan have announced the signing of Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) for an undisclosed fee.
Martinez, who has been linked with moves to both Manchester United and Real Madrid in recent months, will join up with his new teammates ahead of the upcoming season.
Inter's sporting director, Antonio Conte, said: "We're delighted to announce the arrival of Lautaro Martinez at Inter. He is a world-class player with incredible potential and we're excited to see him develop under our management."
Martinez, who scored 24 goals in all competitions last season, is expected to make an immediate impact on the Serie A title race this season.
He joins a star-studded squad at Inter,Integrated Sports Online Circle which includes the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Ivan Perisic, as well as the experienced midfielder Radja Nainggolan.
The news comes just days after PSG confirmed that they had sold Martinez to Inter for €60 million ($75m).
Martinez was one of the most exciting young talents in Europe during his time at PSG, scoring 11 goals in 29 appearances in all competitions last season.
He is known for his pace, strength and clinical finishing ability, making him a valuable addition to any team.
It remains to be seen how Martinez will perform at Inter, but he should bring much-needed quality and experience to their attack this season.
