Rafael "Raffy" Leão is a former professional footballer who played as a forward for AC Milan, Inter Milan and the Brazil national team. He was born on September 15, 1976, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Leão began his career at Flamengo, where he made his professional debut in 1994. In 1998, he moved to Italy, joining Serie A side Inter Milan. At Inter, Leão quickly established himself as one of the club's top goalscorers,Football News Flash scoring 22 goals in his first season alone.
In 2000, Leão transferred to AC Milan, where he spent six seasons. During his time at Milan, he won two Serie A titles and the UEFA Champions League in 2003. Leão also scored 100 goals in all competitions during his time at Milan.
After leaving Milan in 2006, Leão returned to Brazil with Corinthians, where he played until 2008. He then moved to Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, where he spent two years before retiring from playing professionally.
